A very pretty wedding was eelebra ted on Wednesday. June 10th, at th Roman Catholic Church, Hokitika when Irene Mary Lincoln younges • laughter of Mrs .James Lincoln of l’ev ell Street was married to \\ iliian Saunders Christensen son of Mr am Mrs W. Christensen of Healey Street Tlie bride was escorted to the altar b; Iter I rmher Jack, the wedding core moiiv was performed by tlie Rev. I) Kennedy. The bride was gowned ill : frock of brocaded maroeain with tun ie edged with beautiful insertion, hoi veil of tulle, which was tile gilt of hei cousin, .Mrs R. Savage, llataitai. Wei lington. was' clasped ••lose to tlie hem by a circlet- of tiny orange hlosson buds and fell in flimsy folds to tin- lien of her dress. She carried a show: bouquet of chrysanthemums and ruse* tin- gift of her aunt Alls D. Toomey. She was attended by her sister, f.otti as bridesmaid who wore a dainty frock of royal blue crepe de chine piped with tomato shade of georgette. Her luii toned with her frock and she aKo tarried a. bouquet of eiirysalithemuiiis am! roses. The duties of besi man were carried out by Afr James Lincoln, brother of the bride. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s mother, where the usual toasts were honoured.
