At first Park m appeared to have matters his own way, hut towards the end the Australian brightened up, ami went for a knock-out. Parker's quickness and agility saved him from a great deal of punishment, hut both men received a severe milling. Both of Gornik’s eyes were opened, and Parker’s nose was troubling him. Garnik received a severe jolt in the third round, and had Parker sailed in then, he could probably have ended the tight. The encounter was very clean from start to finish.
