WEST COAST RUGBY UNION
At a. meeting of tho West Coast Rugby l ttion Committee last evening a suggestion to have a mutch for the Dittman Shield next Saturday at Hokitika between Grey and Hokitika reps, was not favoured, it being decided to continue the Club lixturcs. It was resolved to ask the Westland Rub-Union for an explanation as to why Mr W. Williams’ appointment as referee for the Kiwi-Excelsior match last Saturday was cancelled. It was deeided to select the West Coast team next Saturday to play Bidler on June 20th. at Greymouth. It was resolved that a Star senior ( layer fa- placed on the caution list.
