JOI-INNY HINES, TUESDAY
Johnny Hines llto pepperiest Staton the screen, the limn who has made the thousands of picture fans rock with laughter, comes to the Princess Theatre on Tuesday in his latest screen success entitled “Luck." Tim mere mention of the word “Luck” brings with it a, train of reminiscences where that favoured word didn’t conic within a mile of ns when we were praying at some time or other for the so-called “breaks” to come our way. AA’e all know how it feels to have “Lurk” against us when we are particularly in need of it, and knowing that abject feeling when the other follow gets the “break” on the game, we can all very well appreciate the humour of the situation. AVith that idea in mind, that inimitable humorous artist of thi' screen Johnny Hines, whose characterizations as “Torchy” and as the hero of the hilariously funny “littrn ’Em L’p Barnes” and “Sure Fire Flint,” made theaiv-goors the country over laugh joyously with him in these productions, conceived the idea ol' making a feature production whose story was built upon the human foibiles that pm so much faith in “Luck.” Tho result hits boon a highly amusing comedy drama of rare delineation by Hines and an all star east- that is said to be well-nigh perfect. Containing as it does a wealth of comedy situations it is balanced nicely with enough dramatic moments to make the production one Hint is apparently very much worth while. Included in the east, are Robert Edeson, Charlie .Murray, Edmund Breese. flora, Finch, and Polly Moran—truly one of the great-M easts that has ever graced a big picture. A grand supporting programme v ill also be shown. Special musical select ions will be rendered by Miss (liese. Support the only independent picture show light-’ iim against the combine. Usual
