Sir F. D. Bell tendered his resignation of the Premiership to the Gover-nor-General this morning. His Excellency then sent for Hon J. iG. Coates and asked him to form a ■Ministry. M.r Coates is now consulting his colleagues and is expected to he sworn in as Prime Minister this afternoon. •Meanwhile. Ministers are carrying on.
