At a meeting of the West Const Rugby Union at Greymouth last evening a request from the Westland SnbUnion was received to have the match against Hawkcs Bay played at Hokitika. It was decided that, although this request could not lie granted, the Uniei; would endeavour later in the seas oi to allow the Sub-Union a lej resent ative fixture. Mayo applied for reinstatement in the Rugby code, and it was decided to recommend the applications favourably to the New Zealand Rugby Union.
