Play was fairly even in the first half, tint England's superior training gave them the advantage in the closing stages. The score at half-time was. 'England I. Australia 0. The goal scorers were Spencer. Timms, lln us ford. Pattern, and Seymour. The Australian goalkeeper. Robinson, was excellent. Rain affected the play during the latter part o ft lie mulch.
