' The duties will he reduied by half yearly stages to the normal tarilf. The same procedure would bo followed for a gradual reduction in duties on trnctors.
'With regard to Customs duties on chemical products which throughout -i amount to under ten per cent ad valoiom, the Government's proposals provided for the lowering of these in return for compensating advantages.
