HOKITIKA SUii-BRANCH. * Yesterday •Nurse Spring of the Blanket -Society (Kited Hokitika with regard to the establishment of a subbranch for this town and district. During the morning a number of mothers visited the rooms at the Soldiers’ Hall and received very helpful advice. in the afternoon a meeting of enthusiastic helpers launched the scheme, many promises of support being received. Nurse Spring will visit Hokitika fortnightly to begin with and as the support increases vi-its will he paid more often. On Friday, May 29th Nurse Spring will he again in Hokitika. In the morning she will \isit mothers and babies in their own homes, and any mes-
sage left with Mrs Perkins (President) or Mrs George Perry :.Hon Secretary) will receive her willing attention, In the afternoon of Friday. May 29th, Nurse Spring will meet mothers and all interested friends at 2.1 o p.m. in the Soldiers’ Hall.
