Il is generally admitted the New Zealand’s low infant mortality i.e., the lowest in the world i-, largely due in the system carried out by the Society. The work has spread to many countries. The work for which the Society stands is carried on by voluntary subscriptions supplemented by ."tale Ml >- sidics. •pile Plunket nurses’ services are Dee t , all classes not as a charity hut as free education.
