MCLEAN’S PICTURES.

TO-NIGHT’S SPECIAL ATTRACTION. At the Princess Theatre to-night McLean's Pictures present a very special attraction, the picture being gleaned from Zone Grey’s popular story “Riders of tlie Dawn.” It is a massive tale of iovo and adventure in ilie great west, and tolls of happy hours. It is a Selzniek feature, and is recommended to patrons. A full supporting programme will include a comedy and gazette.

TUESDAY,—“IN SEARCH OF A THRILL.” .Master Pictures present for Tuesday Viola Dana in Lite melodrama comedy, "In Search of a Thrill” an exciting romance laid in Paris, and concerns the adventures of an American giri whoso thirst for thrills is so unquenchable that she gets into'all sorts of perilous scrapes. The action mostly shows her cll’orts to get out: of them, and is as laugh provoking as it is thrilling. In Lite supporting cast appear Warner Baxter. -Mabel Van Burcn, Rosemary Tliobv. and Templar Saxe. For probably Lite first time in ftlmdom a cafe designed on futurist lines—of the type that is now making its appearance on the Parisian boulevard—was built as one of the house sets for Viola Dana’s latest -Metro picture " In Search of a Thrill.” 'llte calc itself covered a large portion of one of the huge stages. The orchestra was placed upon a plant covered and slightly above the level of the platform, was a plain canvas wall on which lights played from behind. Ai intervals clowns, dancing girls, models and others appeared in various poses behind the canvas, forming sometimes grotesque but. also striking silhouettes. I hi- walls of the cafe were composed of large panels with strays and other figure- depicted in the modern futurist style. “In Search of a Thrill ” was adapted from a story by Kale Jordan.
