A shocking accident occurred at the Morrin.sville Railway Station yards at about 3 p.m. to-day. whereby a young married man. John (1. Rountree, assistant shunter, was instantaneously killed. The deceased was directing an engine in shunting opera! ions, when Jii.s foot apparenly became jammed in the points. There was not time for the engine, which was travelling in reverse gear, to pull up, and he. was practically cut to pieces.
