ROAD RACE.
The cycling load race arranged hv the Hokitika Cycling (Tub. took place on Saturday afternoon. The race was to decide the holder of the Barnet Glass Cup. and the route was from Hokitika, to the Ixokatahi Hotel am! hack to Hokitika. The contestants went away just alter three oh lock, the day being line, with a strong soul h-weslerly w ind blow ing. Eight started, hut two (Dougherty and Barrowman) did not linish. The result was as follows: M. Hutchison (Butin.) Agmin. .'lPsee.
