Kill - breaches of the Horougli byelaw in regard to riding bicycles without a light., 0. Hamilton was lined os and costs 17s (id; I’. Spoor os and costs 17s fid; 11. George (without, a light on footpath) lined 5s and costs 27s (id on two charges. LICENSING ACT.

For breaches of the Licensing Act, in being found on licensed premises after hours, live men were charged (Occidental Hotel). One who pleaded not guilty was discharged. One was lined os and costs 7s, one Ills and costs 7s, and two -IDs and costs 7s. Three charges (.Masonic Hotel) were dismissed lifter hearing considerable evidence. Charges against the licensee arising out of the foregoing were withdrawn, the Magistrate stating under the circumstances the police were cpiite justified in laying the charges. Three charges (All Nation’s Hotel, Jtimii) were defended by Mr Afuidoci. One was lined 10s and costs Os and lie other two cases were dismissed, In a further three charges (All Nations’ Hotel) one was fined 10s and costs 9s and the other two were dismissed. Four charges (Club Hotel), two wee fined 20s and 7s costs, and two Ids d 7s costs. Two charges (Keller’s Hotel). Fined 40s and costs 7s.
