A meeting of the Council of All India l.awn Tennis Association at Lahore was held to consider the suspensions of the Indian Davis Cup players Ey/.ee and Jacob, 1»v the English Lawn tennis Association. At the conclusion of the meeting a eommunifpie was issued stating that, a calde had lieon sent to the manager of the Indian Davis Cup players to instruct the players concerned to give the necessary undertaking and settle the matter. The Indian Association did not question the English Association's right to as it did. hut the method was piest ioned.
