(a i To hold the Show oil a dale in May to he seleeted, or (Ii) to abandon the show this year, and (e) to consider holding a Winter Show, were discussed at length.
It was moved by Mr Dalgleish and so, i,mleil by Air Fleming that the annual show he abandoned for this year. The general grounds were that the season was now too advanced the days being much shorter and the weather unreliable. Further that exhibitors who had entered were placed at no disadvantage as the unavoidable postponement had made them unable to hold their exhibitions lit to show.
Proposals to hold a winter show, and also the advisability of a show late in the year say November or December, were also suggested. Finally the motion to abandon the show this year was put and carried. Accounts totalling C2II Is were passed for payment.
