WEDDING BELLS
The wedding was celebrated on Wednesday lasi of Margaret, third daughter of .Mr and Airs J. Scarlett, of Peel ton. to Jack. Youngest son of the hue Mr and .Mrs .). Diseai iati. The ceremony Look place at the resilience of .Mrs \V. M. lleid, Sumner. The bride, who was given away by her brother. Air Frank Scarlett, looked cliai tiling in a gown of cameo-pink knife-pleated georgette, the low waist line being defined by pink and silver diameh.te trimming. Her veil of pale pink tulle, hand embroidered, fell in grateful folds from a circlet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet <; i pale pink roses and maidenhair lam. Misses Eileen and Winifred Scarlett, sisters of the brine, were the attendant maids, the former wearing a dainty frock of apricot georgette, with inlet panels, knife-pleated, and the latter wearing lavender georgette, the tunic being bordered with ostrich leathertrimming. They wore black picture hats. Their shower bouquets of autumn flowers blended with the effective colour scheme. A small niece of the bride, lionia lleid. was also in attendance. wearing a dainty little truck of creme georgette. She wore a circlet of rosebuds in her hair, and carried a posy of yellow rosebuds and autumn leaves. Mr J. Discaciati, brother of the bridegroom acted as lx*st man. Mrs AV. Al. Reid, sister of the bride, received tlie guests, wearing a gown oT black panne velvet, cut on classic lines; with this was worn a smart hat of black hatters plush, finished with ostrich mounts. A bouquet of soft pink carnations completed her toilet. When Air and Airs J. Discaciati left for their wedding tour, the bride was wearing a smart Havanabrown tricotine frock, with underlining;! of rust colour. Her hat to tone was of panne velvet, finished with a brown shaded mount, She carried a brown velour wrap.
