The photoplay was adopted from the famous novel by Rex Reach and it is enacted by a .sterling cast ol .screen players. .Milton Sills and Anna Q. Nilsson, whose popularity is unbounded, have the leading roles, aided by Alice C'alhoun, Josephine Crowell, and other famous artists. r l he direction was in the capable hands of Joe J)e Grasse. “.Flowing Gold" is going to give you the thrill of your lives, for it contains a series of hair-raising incidents, the like of which you have never before witnessed on the screen. Chief of these is the burning of an oil well, set afire by a stroke of lightning. You will see the bolt strike the top of the derrick, igniting the gushing liquid; a sudden burst of flame which illuminates the entire neighbourhood : the bursting of a dam which carries the burning oil far and wide, the trapping of the hero and heroine on the top of a shack which is being carried along by the surging waters, and the over!timing of the shack, plunging the couple into the sea of flames. Those are the highlights of a story such as only Rex Reach could write. It is gripping entertainment from start to finish, and is the type of picture which carries an appeal to all. It is a dramatic masterpiece which it will lie impossible to erase from the memory, and one that all should see! On Wednesday next Charles Jones will be seen in bis latest Fox production, “The Vagabond Trail.” On Thursday next Zane Grey’s famous story “To the Last Man.”
