VISITING HOCKEY TEAMS.

CHRISTCHURCH, Apr. 1(1. At a meeting of the .Management Committee of the New Zealand Hockey Association a letter was received from the Secretary of tne Army Sports Board accepting the Association's invitation to send an Indian representative eleven to tour the Dominion next season.

The visit of a representative Australian team was discussed and it was decided to extend an imitation to fifteen players and a manager to tour the Dominion in July and August, playing eight or nine matches, including one test.

The Secretary was instructed to write to all Associations asking for nominations for matches.
