A holt of lightning ignites the lent in which the crowds of extras are working and m the ensuing panic Scudder meets his end. And Mem freed at last of the horror of this criminal in her life now considers a templing offer of stardom, hut Claymore begs her to stay with him to strive tor now heights in her film work and she realzies that staying with him is what she wanted most in all the world.
