The rowing race for the Australasian championship was rowed here this afternoon over a course of three miles, three hundred and thirty yds., between Pat. Hannan and Darcy Hadtield and was won hv Hannan by twelve lengths. The time was twenty-live minutes 33 2-5 secs. The slow time was due to there being rough water. Hannan led from the start and he was never challenged, lie gradually increased his lead throughout. Doth rowel’s shipped considerable water, Hannan making the heller weather.
