At the inquest on Cooke and Eo-ter, tlie widow of Cooke said she had not lived with her husband since January. She last saw him on 2oth. March when lie had declared that everything was going wrong. He many tunes tfuoa*--viied to take his own lire. The mother of foster said that her sou was dutiful, hut easily led. She understood that he sold his reversionarv rights in hi-s lather's estate. Doctor Eairlie expressed the opinion that both men died of gas poisoning, but as regards Foster there "as caked poison adherent to his lip and chin, which would require analysis. The inquest was adjourned.
