AlrLeod, Minister of Ronds, said lie felt that he could assure .them that the position was not as had as present, appearances might lead them to believe. Up to the time he left Wellington the most eminent surgeons in New Zealand had keen unable to find any internal growth of any nature and he understood the operation was of a purely investigational nature. His colleagues hoped, with the people of New Zealand that a great and useful life would he spared to the country.
