At a meeting of the New Zealand Swimming Council yesterday, the Secretary reported he had written to the Australian I’nion inquiring if Eve and C hristie would be able to visit New Zealand next season, and had also sent a similar inquiry to the Swedish Association with respect to Arne llorg.
Mis, Charlotte Epstein, of the Women’s Swimming Association. New lork. wrote expressing, the opinion that there would be no difficult v in arranging lor American girls to visit the Dominion. It was decided to asiertaiu the views i f centres in regard t■ > the Australian proposal that Weismuller be invited to make a visit next .March.
