The “ Times ” Riga correspondent says Moscow continues to lie alarmed at Britain’s efforts to establish European tranquility. The Soviet press is republishing long tirades against Britain whose growing Continental influence is considered dangerous to the Soviet. It is declared that the Anglo-Franeo-German renppronchnlent must he prevented lest Britain, freed from European problems finds leisure to thwart Bolshevik Oriental plans.
ATLANTIC FLEET. SALUTES PRINCE OF WALKS. [Reuters Telegrams.] (Received this dav at 10.25 a.m.) LONDON, .March .’U. The Atlantic Fleet proceeding homeward from combined licet exercise in the Mediterranean, altered its course, at the request of the Prince of Wales, to salute the Repulse. It was a stately, impressive scene. When in flic neighbourhood of Vigo, the Repulse passed at eight knots through the lines of fully forty fighting ships, three miles long. Rands were playing on each vessel and the company manned the side nearest tbe Repulse. The Prince, in naval uniform, beside tbe Captain of the Repulse, acknowledged the cheers and waved bis cap.
