ENGLISH RACING. AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION LONDON. March 27. Liverpool Grand National Steeplechase resulted:—Double Chance 1,. Old Fay Bridge 2. Flymast 3. Thirty-three ran. Won by four lengths with six lengths between second and third.
ROSEHILL RACES. SYDNEY, March 29. The Rosehill races were held in fine weather. Rawson Stakes.—The Hawk 1, Whittier 2, Polyeletan 3. A great finish, The Hawk snatching a victory by a neck. Polyeleton finished fast, one and a half-lengths away. Time—l.oH. This is a track recoid.
Beauford, after eighteen months ’absence from the race track, started in the Railway Handicap, and was beaten by Valiant by one and a-quarter’ lengths, in the time of I,2a', which is; equal to the track record.
