Messrs 11. Maison and Co., report as follows regmding their stock sale at Addington yards yesterday: Store Sheep.—Another vc-ry large yarding, which again was coninrisod mostly of ewes that came from the North Island and Southland, as w 11 as many local consignments. A fair number of lambs were yarded, hot very few wethers. Any good young tenable ewes and good forward lambs were linn at last week’s rates, but. travelled sorts or unreliable mouths, or backward sheep, were easier. Wethers showed little, if any, difference, the sale although sound was a. dragging one, and did not finish till very late, In fact, at the time of writing this report the sale was still in progress, and a tango of prices was difficult, to quote.
