At the annual meeting of the New South Wales Rugby Union, a highly satisfactory report was presented, which showed that during the year a debit of £935 had been transformed to a credit of £lllO. The All Blackvisit showed a profit of £1627. It was stated the Rugby Union game was again flourishing, and popular. H was also mentioned. with pride, that the New South Wales’ victory in the first test match was the only win scored against the All Blacks.
The President, Sir Henry Braddon, declared the Union had passed from the valley of despair, and was now on the heights. Generous recognition was made of (he sportsmanship of tho New Zealanders in risking defeat and injury by playing New South AYales on the eve of their British tour.
