MINISTERIAL VISIT.
HON. ANDERSON ARRIVES TUESDAY.
The Hon. (I. J. Anderson. Minister of Mines. Labour and Marine, will arrive hero on Tuesday evening. Mr Anderson has been invited by (he Westland County Council through Air O’Brien, M.l’.. to open the Kakapotalii bridge. The Hon. Minister has consented tu do so. Mr O’Brien advised the County Clerk to that effect. The Ministerial Party leaves for South Westland on Wednesday morning travelling as far as Wailio Gorge, and en route the Minister will perform the bridge opening ceremony.

Tin- Han Minister lias advised Mr Well. County Cbairmnii. Unit lie will be prepared to lake deputations at Hokitika on Tuesday evening next.
It is believed the visit ot the Minister of Marine South is not unconnected with possible harbour developments at Okarito.
