The indications arc looking hotter for a change towards a downward tendency. so Doctor 'I chord. Medical 0.licer i f Health told a repoiter to-day. respecting the infantile epidemic. Onlyone new notification that ot a thice-and-a-lialf year old girl from Limvood, has been made since noon yesterday.

For the twenty-four hours between noon yesterday and to-day, only one fresh case of infantile paralysis was notified to the Auckland Distrut Health Office, that of a- ease in South Auckland. Between neon to-day and 10 p.m. seven fresh eases of infantile paralysis were notified to the District Health Officer. One case was at Rnngiora. All the others were in and around the ‘SPORTS MEETING ABANDONED. RAETTHI, March Id.
