ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET. (By Telegraph.—Special to guardian.). CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Messrs H. Mu Ison and Co., repot t as follows regal ding their stock sale at Addington yards yesterday: Store Sheep,—A very heavy yarding, being much larger than Inst week, and mostly ewes of which the greatest propel lion nere from the North Island. Any good sorts of ewes were firm at last week's rates, also "ethers: hut lambs in sympathy with the drop v-col values, as well as reduced over all | rues, showed a decline of anything from Is lid to 3s per head. There wore odd lines of good wethers which sold well, hut the yarding was evidently in excess of butchers’ lequirements and showed a, decided drop all round, especially for ewes which were 2s to 3s below last week, and wethers, anything from Is (id to 2s. Prime wethers 37s to 425, extra to 475, medium 34s to- 3Gs Gd.

Store Cattle.—A very small yarding and as usual only of nondescript lots. It was a very dull sale, no quotable lines being offered.

Beef.—A heavy yarding of 590 head, including one very excellent consignment of cows and heifers from the North Island, which sold well, the market averaging £ll 7.s Gd. Oth or-

wise the quality was very irregular and 'following up on the last few weeks’ heavy yarding,s, the market was again easier. Prime steers made £l4 to £lO, extra to £l7 455, medium .£ll 5s to £l3 15s, lighter £8 40s to £44, others down to £6 40. prime heifers £8 40s to £ll ss, extra to £l3 2s (id, others £5, to £8 ss. prime cows £7 15s to £lO 10s, extra to £l4, medium £5 to £7 10s, others down to £3. Fat pigs,—A large entry came forward of porkers and baconers. The market for porkers opened easier than last week, but very soon improved and prices were alter the first race slightly hotter than last, weeks' rates. Bat-on-ers sold also slightly better than at the previous sale. Values were: light porkers 48s to 545, heavy 57s to 07s, average 7.}d to 8.1 d; light baconers £3 15s to £4 ss, heavy. £4 Ids to £5 ss. average Old to 7 LI; choppers £3 to £G. Store pigs.—Quite a good entry came forward which included a good consignment from the Coast. There was only a small attendance of buyers and they were not prepared to pay the prices ruling previously, hence sales were hard to make and prices were reduced considerably. Values were: Weaners 6s to 12s, better sorts to 17s small stores 25s to 355, medium 40s to 465, large to 555. sows in pig t-o £4 3s down to 295. Prime ewes made 30s to 33s lOd. extra to 38s, medium 26s to 29s Gd, lighter 22s to 25s 6d. others down to 19s.

Lambs.—A very small yarding, and the quality was again, with few exceptions, very indifferent- and generally showed a lack of finish. The market was a good deal easier than last week, showing a. further drop of Is 6d to 2s per head. The average overall price was about 12d. Several West Coast lines were entered, but these were generally plain and showed lack of finish.
