‘‘EONS ODDS’TO-NIGHT

To-night at the Princess Theatre the wo no rfii I English Racing drama. “Long Odds” will he presented. Many racing pictures have been produced in the past, and many doubtless will be produced in the future; hut “Long Odds” a British Master picture, is in a class by itself. 'I here is villain in the story, hut he is a company promoter and contrary to custom lie does not try to dope or injure the horses in any way. And the big surprise—which is also the big sensation of the film is associated with one of the little known rules of the turf, instead of with an impassible circumstance such as the beautiful heroine riding to win! There arc several novel effects in the lilni and one of them will probably cre-

ate considerable comment and some speculation as to how it was accomplished. Tt occurs at the first water jump in dho hig steeplechase, and to all appearances, ihc horses leap into the tamera. “Long Odds”, is one of the greatest racing pictures ever filmed. The rare is so well done and the suspense so cleverly induced, that long before it is over it has the audience worked up to a perfect frenzy of excitement. A good supporting series will also be shown. Those who love racing will lie delighted at the display-to-night.
