litirness (Australia) won his heat in the half mile cycle handicap, hut was not planed in the final.
The 7byds scratch race resulted: Parker (Australia. 1, Brownlee (Canterbury) 2; Murphy (Canterbury) .1. Time 7.-l-o.i
SSOyds scratch —Pacing (Canterbury) 1, Whyte (Australia) 2, Nicoll (Ashburton) 3. Won by five yards. Time 2.2-5. Parker won his heat in the 100yds 01,011 handicap, hut ran unplaced in the final. Canterbury heat Wellington in the ladies relay race.
The one mile scratch cycle race sulted :—liurness (Australia) 1; Forrester 2; Mills A. Won by a length. Time 2.lit 1-.5 Two mile flat handicap—Bose L Taylor (Canterbury) 2, Graham (Canterbury) ft. Won by six yards. 'Tune 9.40 2-o. \ relay race, Australia v. Canterbury could not be held, as Graham had a bruised heel and Hyde was indisposed.
