.For all eases of infantile paralysis, six weeks’ isolation is prescribed. This morning, six children, who have iulfilled this requirement, and who showno paralysis or muscular weakness, were discharged from the Christchurch hospital. They are the first batch to leave the Hospital as cured, since the epidemic began to sweep over the district.

Early in the week, a recent arrival in the Dominion, a Mormon Missionary, aged 23, became sick at the Missionary Camp at Xgapuhu, small settlement two miles from kaikohe. Doctors diagnosed his trouble as small
