The Union promised to supply the .sixmen necessary to complete the Mnrania's crew, on condition that the two sick men who are at present on the Mamma were examined hy :i doctor, and, if necessary replaced hy two other men. The Company agreed to the condition. A call was then made for men at the Shipping Masters’ Office. Four men responded, leaving the vessel still two short. A call next day was then decided on. SYDNEY. March 5. Yesterday two more of tin' steamer .Mamma's liremen were sent to gaol (making live) for fourteen days’ hard Inhour. AORANGI’S CREW QUARTERS. SYDNEY, March 5. It is rumoured that unless better accommodation is provided lor the crew on the Aorangi, the men will refuse to take her to sea when she is due to sail on the 12th ol .March. Mr Tom Walsh staled he was aware that the men required better quarters, but so far his Union had not approached the. company to have alterations made and until this was done no action was contemplated.
