Broekett, members of tho local Tramping Club, left Levin last Friday to tramp across the Tarar via the Ohau liver and DunTararuas, via the Ohau River and Dundas to Masterton. They now are ovet two days overdue. Search parties arc being organised in Wairarapa and Levin. INQUEST VERDICT. NELSON' .March G. The verdict at the adjourned inquest on the lad, Charles Curtis, the victim of the Newton Flat fatality, was that death was due to shock following severe burns, the result of a wliare taking fire, presumably through a candle left hunting no blame being attachable to anyone. Tho deceased, with an elder brother was sleeping in the wlinro.
