1 NANGA in: A YARDS
Messrs TdeAlalmn and Lee held their usual sale fixture at the I naiigahua Yards last .Monday. The yarding comprised lour fat cattle and 630 fat and store sheep. Owing to the abnormally boisterous weather conditions, the attendance of buyers was much less than is usuallv the ease. Also these conditions adversely affected the appearance of the stock yarded. .Moreover, owing to blockages on the Buffer .Road, helow Inangaliua Junction, several entries of fat cattle and sheep did not reach the yards. Competition lor the sheep was not quite so keen as at the previous fixture, hut nevertheless, the hulk of the yarding was cleared. ho following sales were effected: 1 iat wethers at 43s 6d, M fat wethers at 4ls 125 mixed sheep at 3,s <xl, o.J fat’wethers at 33s 6d, 14 fat ewes at 29 S 58, 2- and 4-tooth wethers at 30s, 70 2- and 4-tooth store wethers at 295. No fat cattle were sold.
