NAPIER, February 25. Judge AI pers at the Supreme Court sentenced John Robertson, a latl who pleaded guilty to arson and manslaughter, to ten years reforuitive detention ou each charge, the sentences to he concurrent. The accused is at present serving a sentence in the Borstal Institute for arson and tnett. Donald Stewart, another youth, for attempting to murder Parnnihia by placing caustic soda in the medicine received seven years detention and six months each for horse stealing, all sentonccs to be concurrent., George Clarence Wilson for iorgerv and littering received twelve months hard, and for false pretences (2 charges) six months each. AUCKLAND, Feb. 20. At the Supreme Court John 'Lawrence Cosgrove on four charges of mischief (maiming an animal) was sentenced to five years reformative treat-
