INFANTILE PARALYSIS
[BY TEUhQRAPII — PF.H rUESS ASSOCIATION. SUSPECT A'l’ DUNEDIN. DUNEDIN, February 23. Another infantile paralysis suspect is reported at Taieri Beach. -AUCKLAND REPORT. AUCKLAND. February 23. Six cases of infantile paralysis were reported over the week-end. including three ill North Auckland, two ill Central Auckland, and one in South Au.k land. Dr. Hughes, the Health Officer, says the epidemic appeared to be dying down, but still there were a few persistent cases. PARENTS FINED. HAMILTON, February 23. At the Magistrate's Court, seveial parents were charged 'with breaches of the Health Act, in allowing their children to attend the sports and regatta. One was fined two pounds and the others were convicted and discharged. CASE IN DUNEDIN. DUNEDIN. February 24. The Taieri Bench infantile case, a girl of 10, is declared positive, and bos pi tailed A second Taieri su-.pect is not infantile. There are 3 cases •» Dunedin Hospital.
