Thompson drew attention to a circular which had been forwarded to the chairmen ol school committees and teachers by the Public Health Department, containing snggesstions for the cleaning and sanitation of schools. He moved, after a general discussion
“ That, while this hoard agrees that the suggestions of the Health Department are necessary for tile effective cleaning of schools, the present incidental allowances to committees are totally inadequate to allow ol their being put into operation and suggests that the present incidental allowances be increased to meet the conditions.” The motion was carried. Mr \\ ild was the only dfssentient. He expressed the wish to have bis vote recorded, as he thought the suggestions desirable hut not necessary.
