(To the Editor.)
fir, —On my return from Christchurch ! read with considerable interest and some amusement the vnpourings of an anonymous correspondent criticising the action of the members of the Westland County Council in rescinding a resolution authorising the expenditure of CIO ol County ratepayers’ money in the opening up of a track through the Kanieri Lake Scenic Reserve which track would have only been of use to the poachers in the habit of visiting the preserves at Kanieri Lake. Your correspondent in rushing into print without the courage ol signing his name to his elfusioir is quite consistent with his action in other mat-
Thc Members „f the County Council are quite able to defend themselves at the proper time ami' in the proper place. For my part I take no notice of anonymous correspondence hut I invite the gentleman (L who signed the letter to sign his name to lus subsequent correspondence and I will do the same.
