Felt. 18. At Victoria to-day the All Blacks defeated the Vancouver Island team by OS points (IS tries 7 of which were converted) to 4 points (a dropped goal). The ground was one of treacherous, slippery clay, whereon Xepitt found place-kicking almost impossible. There were ft.(100 spectators.
