THE LATEST REPORT.
LONDON, February 18.
Following on a brief visit of his medical advisors to the King last evening, it was stated that there was nothing to add to the previous bulletins.
It is understood that His Majesty rested throughout the day. The Queen attended M. Paderewski’s recital in the Albert Hall in. aid of Lord Haig’s British Legion Appeal fund, hut her Majesty was anxious to return to the Palace, and she left tho concert about 9..‘10 p.m. There was a distinctly sympathetic note in the cheers with which the audience and the crowds outside greeted Queen Mary.
It appears that the King caught a chill on Friday night last, when attending an Alhambra performance. Tho weather was damp and cold at the time, and it was decided as a precautionary measure, to cancel His Majesty’s football engagement on Saturday.
His Majesty attended Divine service in the Palace Chapel on Sunday. He walked out in the garden on Mon day, but he has not left the Palace since. KING’S CONDITION IMPROVING. LONDON, February 18. An official bulletin says the King spent a fair night. The bronchitis is not yet changed, hut the King’s general condition has improved.
