Owing to the eoiilintiod prevalence ol the infantile paralysis epidemic Lie. Hokitika Beautifying Society lias decided to postpone the - gala alti-rnoon, which was to have taken place on Tuesday, February 24th. to a date to ho decided later. These figures suggest that there is something seriously wanting in the administration. On the year's output, the Company should have hen substantially in credit instead of showing a serious deficit.
