SATCRDAY, FEB. 14th. SHOW POSTPONED. A well-attended meeting of the General Committee was held at the ofliee of the Secretary at 1 p.m.. Mr J. M. Dimmick (President) in the chair. Correspondence with the District Health Officer relative to the holding of the Show was considered, and it was resolved, in the endeavour to assist the Department in its efforts to mitigate the possibilities of a spread of the epidemic. to postpone the annual Show from Saturday next until a date to be fixed later. A sub-committee was set up consisting of the President, Messrs Jeffries, Pilkington, Mnekay, Atkinson and Secretary to deal with/matters meanwhile, and to call a meeting of the Executive when a favourable report was received from the Health Officer. It was decided that entries would, meanwhile, be continued to be received. Satisfactory reports were received from collectors of subscriptions and donations, and 16 new members were elected.
