MASTER PICTURES. CLARA KEMBALM YOUNG TO-NIGHT. ■< \ Wife’s Romance,” 1 h« .dolro feature to he- screened at the Opera House to-night offers excellent entertainment for'old and young. It is a pi, I are so full of color and romance, and the breathing spirit of life, that it ought to he seen by everyone who de-
sires to put cares away and delight in a world of pure joy. Spain, land of romance. land of color, land of passionate unyielding love, land of ‘The Cid,” land of Ramon, land of the handsome brigand, beloved by the poor mid feared by the rich. The- story in brief deals with two Americans—a- man and his wife—who live in Spain. The husband immersed in his consular affairs is rather neglectful of liis wife, wherefore she seeks consolation in the admiration of Ramon, tho Robin Hood of (lie Castillo forests. He is a chivalrous brave son of sunny Spain-—ii brigand to he sure—but beloved by the poor for his charities. But to tell this unique story would spoil the punch in the picture, but everything turns out surprisingly well at the end. Vivid splashes of colors more striking than the latnbow. Excellent supports including a Gazette. Comedy, Scene and Orchestra. Usual prices. Tuesday:—The Racing Melodrama “Riders Up” by Gerald Beaumont and prtiduced by a great director (Irvine Cummings) and an all-star cast.
