New Zealand, salted, finest—lsßs, 100 sup to 102 s per cwt (Is oil to Is ofd per lb). Unsalted 172 sto 180 s per cwt (Is G.',d to Is 7.R1 per lb), two exceptional 182 s per, cwt (Is 71d per lb); other qualities 132 sto 151 s per cwt (Is 2]d to Is 4]d per lb). Australian, salted—l4Bs to 150 s per cwt-(Is 4d to Is 4*,(1 per lb), exceptional 152 s per cwt (Is 4id per lb). Unsalted 100 s to 101 s per cwt (Is old to Is 54d per Hi). Other qualities, salted, 138 s to 146 s per cwt (Is 2-id to Is 3ld per lb), unsalted 152 s to 158 s per cwt (Is 4icl to Is 5d per lb). Argentine—-Steady demand; 154 s to 100 s per cwt (Is 4Jd to Is old per lb), exceptional 100 s per cwt (Is 5Jd per lb). Other qualities 144 s to 152 s per cwt (Is 3Jd to Ls 4Jd per lb).
Danish—Market steady ; 210 s to 220 s per cwt (ls lid to ls ll.Ul per lb). CHEESE. ’
The market is quiet and steady. Official quotations are : English, finest farmers—Market firm ; 124 s to 128 s per cwt (Is 14 d to ls 3d per lb). Canadian—Coloured 98s to 100 s per cwt (104il to lOp! per lb), white 100 s per cwt (1 Off cl per lb), exceptional 102 s per cwt (lid per lb). New Zealand—Coloured 91s, 95s up to 90s per cwt (lOH to 10.',d per lb), white 95s to 90s per cwt (lOd per lb).Aiistralian—Steady demand; coloured' 92,s to 94s per cwt (9Jd to lOd per lb). Estimated stocks of cheese oil February 2 at London, Liverpool and li tol were: Chain diati and American 78,700 boxes, New Zealand and Australian 09,850 crates against 43,750 boxes and 13,700 crates respectively same time lastyear. Shipments of New Zealand produce arrived this week per Port Campbell and Mil-liana. HEMP. The Manila market is weak. J grade February-April shipment is quoted at 051 sellers. March-May shipments £l9. New Zealand is without interest. Nominal values:—Highpoints, iFobnnnryApril shipments, £4O; fair £33 per ton. WOOL. The Bradford market reflects the weakness of the recent London decline. Tops nominal quotations are:—OPs merino 72d: 56’s super half-bred, 48d; 40’s prepared (coarse cross-bred). 31d per lb. APPLES. English 8s to 12s per case, Californian Newtown 10s to 12s Od per case. Oregon Newtown 12s to 17,s per case. American Spitzenlmrg 14s to 10s per case, Jonathan 14s per ease. MAPLE. Partridge ns in ' poor demand. Good English quoted at 55s to 60s per 5041 b New Zealand 65s to 755. Tasmanian 75s to 82s (FI. ex store, according to quality. BEANS. English is slow at 45s to 55s per 5321 h, according to quality. Choice old spring offered up to 655. Chinese eh eras spot sold at £lO 15s per ton. Forward shipments not being offered.
