At to-night’s meeting of the Mr-n----agemeiit Committee of the New Zen- „ land Rugby Union it was reported that the Town Hall had been engaged for March Kith, the day of the i'-turn of the All Blacks. The -Mayor had agreed to give a civic reception, and a. welcome home hall would he held at
night. Applications for re-instatemont by Sydney Blake, George Love, enmes Love, Albert Love, Daniel Love, and Daniel Puketapu were granted. An application for reinstatement by T. Gilroy was referred back for further CO nsideration. A letter was received from IT. Frost, Auckland, stating the well-known Auckland footballer, Vic Badele.v was slowly but surely recovering the full use of bis legs, and was now able to walk without support, and the indications were that in a few months be will be back to normal.
