TO-NIGHT Patrons will Ik; delighted with t,lic grand hill ot faro to he presented at the Pi im ess Theatre headed hy the first and only appearance here of two of the most popular artists of the Fuller Circuit, 'Wendy and Alphonse. Talented, smart, and of pleasing personality, they open with “Where There’s a Will There’s a Way,’’ and Wendy daintily gowned, sings “I want- a Boy,” with much archness. Alphonse tells some funny “drunk” stories, which create' much merriment, and he brings out the humor and pathos of that tale of a French poilu, “Alphonse” and his “Tommy” pal. The couple then present a clever and diverting medley of popular songs aptly interwoven, and for full measure to pleased patrons. Wendy adds a very amusing burlesque of one of “Fuller's Royal Nine Wonders,” singing “Carolina Dinah.” At the (liberty Theatre in Christchurch the applause was so insistent that this talented couple had lo give a burlesque on Rotorua Maoris singing their version of “Oh, By Jingo.” The star piclore to be presented to-night is a William Fox production “When Odds are Even” starring William Russell. On Thursday a. 7-reel Solziiiek special “Daughters' of To-day” will he the big aitraclion, together with llio popular “1 outlier Pushers.”
