[Reuters Telegrams.] GIRLS MURDERED. JACK 11 OKIE’S FATHER ACCUSED NEW YORK, February 7. At Los Angeles, S. C. Stone, the father of Jack iloxie (film actor) who is night watchman in a residential district whence May and Mina Martin disappeared in August, is being Hold in gaol for questioning, concerning the kidnapping and death of the two little girls whose bodies have been discovered in shallow graves. Stone declared that he knew nothing of the death of the Martin sisters, but the investigators announced that they had witnesses ready to testify that they saw Stone talking with the girls shortly before their disappearance, and that suspicious clues have been found in Stone s automobile. NEW YORK, February (I. Los Angelos reports state that Jack Iloxie later denied that Stone was his father. Stone had told the police that he was Hoxie’s father. It appears Lloxie’s real name is Stone.
